Squash Club FAQs
How does your club operate?
The Revelstoke Squash Club operates as a key club. There are no staff onsite. Members are given a key to access the premises and are expected to respect the responsibility of exclusive membership. Guests are encouraged and there is an onsite drop-in fee box for guests. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves according to our code of conduct and participate fully in the operation of our not-for-profit club.

Is drop-in play possible at your club?
Our club does have a drop-in rate and a drop-in box onsite and we do accept e-transfers for drop-in play.
However, drop-in sessions are somewhat challenging for a club operating as a key club. Arrangements must be made with a member of the club to gain access to the premises (and possibly to rental equipment).
So, drop-in play is possible, but does require advance arrangements.
Is there a changing facility at the club?
Our club offers clean and convenient changing facilities including lockers, washrooms, and showers, for your comfort and convenience.
Do you provide squash lessons for beginners?
At various time throughout the year, we offer intoductory lessons for those who are interested in learning/trying the game of squash! We charge a small fee ($10), limit the number of players per session to maximize instruction/play time, and suggest at least a 3 session trial. The accumulated fees (to a maximum of $30) can be applied to any membership option.
Our lessons can often accomodate players wishing to rediscover their former game or sharpen their current game play in a separate court from those just learning the game of squash.

Are courts available for booking in advance?
Court bookings are made online. We recommend booking a court in advance to ensure a court is available and reserved for you at the desired time slot and for the desired duration.
During our busy prime time slots (weekday evenings), we respectfully request that you be considrate of other members and book courts for no more than one hour duration.
Do you rent equipment on-site?
Yes, we can provide squash racket and ball rentals. However, arrangements must be made in advance with a club member in order to gain access to the premises and the rental equipment.
So, yes, you can enjoy the game of squash even if you don't own equipment or don't have it with you while visiting Revelstoke.
